Dr Dale Harrison is an ophthalmic surgeon specialising in Cataract and Laser refractive surgery. He graduated MBChB from the University of Cape Town in 1992 and did his specialist training in London then Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. He has been performing Cataract and Laser surgery in Private Practice in Cape Town since 2003 and currently operates out of the new purpose built Cape Town Life Peninsula Eye Hospital.
He was made a Consultant in Ophthalmology, Groote Schuur Hospital in 2003 and remained a part time Senior Lecturer and Clinician at UCT Medical School training junior ophthalmic surgeons till 2017.
He has been a past Chairman of the Western Cape Branch of OSSA and was chairman of the organising committee for the Annual OSSA congress in Cape Town in 2013.

When not at work, Dr Harrison enjoys hiking with his family, mountain biking and bird watching.
